purpose of a Temple

The Purpose of a Temple
© Copyright 2012 M7C, All rights reserved.

In Ancient Times, the Gods appeared among the living – supernatural beings that when conversed with could influence the environment.  People would worship them for helping answer requests (prayers), by making offerings in a selected building, or Temple-Palace.  Talking to a God was the same as requesting an event.  When Gods were incarnate, or in human or animal bodies (“alive”), they were people with supernatural abilities not just someone claiming divine birth with no ability.  The Egyptian Pharaoh was a living God as well, so his Palace resembled a Temple – a columned building decorated in the finest artwork, with pools, gardens, libraries, colleges, and Temple Granaries (food storage, which acted as a grain bank – grain was their form of money).  A Priesthood was maintained to tend to the living God, as well as educate the people and perform religious or magical ceremonies.

Offerings were of grain (money), processed food and drink in containers, flowers, gems, processed cloth or textiles, books/scrolls, or the best that the citizens had to offer.  The food was so rich that it caused health issues among the priests, who ate the leftovers.  In return the Gods would create events like attracting prosperity to the country, winning foreign battles, causing rain in place of a drought, causing the Sun to appear during a storm, appeasing ancestral spirits, or personal issues of the people.  If the Gods were not satisfied for any reason, they would act in the world with their powers, in the form of Natural Disasters until the people made them happy again; monuments were another form of offering.

Temples were not places where Citizens went to converse with the Gods (Churches or Mosques), because they could pray at home to miniature statues of the Gods in a home shrine.  The statues were similar to photographs, images that reminded the people of what the Gods looked like.  They were not “worshiped” as idols, for the statues formed an element of the shrine.  The people needed to know the image of the God in order to direct their prayers, as with Visualization.

Talking to a God / Divine incarnate is the same as praying or requesting.  The entity can cause an event by email, blogging, telephone, speaking, writing, thinking, or dreaming.  So for this reason silence is necessary to prevent “accidental requests.”  As living Gods can be anyone or anywhere, the people can request something in public and be assured someone will answer it.

Eye of the Pharaoh - revision - on Kindle now....

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0091CMI9Y

Existence has no beginning. It has no end. Existence has no Creator; our perception of existence is sensory. Without that, we are nothing within something…
Before sensory there was Darkness. Then there was Light, but only because I invented Sight via willing for a solution. Once this was attained I learned how to Dream, and so created ideas in this way, ideas that prompted the design of forms of Life in existence. Life is my technology, my inventions utilizing my knowledge. I gathered together molecules of dust, and took them apart into basic pieces, then combined them to form shapes for my inventions. Dust existed as radiated Light, or the dry essence of the energy needed for Light. Hot Light is Energy, and Cool Light is Matter. My observations contributed to my comprehension of this existence. Energy is what causes the complete package of Life to function in their machinery, for Life is a Machine of moving parts.
I created the machines of Life first for my own benefit, then later to entertain my boredom and loneliness. Though I am still very much alone in a room with talking toys, with no one who isn’t a creation to enjoy it with; I am always alone. I was alone in the existence I find myself in. Perhaps, once, there were others; as if I was hatched from an egg while still blinded by lack of sensory, never finding my parent in the void of eternity.

Though I created all Life in my existence, I care little for their welfare, because I can always create more. Destroying them is as much fun as creating them, as they are organic machines, and lack real elements of existence. I am real, but they are all synthetic, clones, copies, and imitations. The Matter of their existence may have always existed before Sight did, and there may be other components out there once a new sensory is discovered by chance. Perhaps I am alone, or perhaps I am being watched by something, like a mouse in a maze, looking for the exit?
My creations are programmed by a Core Belief or instinct. This forms their basic thought process. For some, a Core Belief is a religion, or a code of law, or a way of thinking, a Philosophy, a schedule. Almost all my creations have one, except for the one unfinished and incomplete project: Mankind. This creation was my most recent experiment....

So begins the adventure of life as a mortal, from the experience of a reborn Ancient Egyptian King, Tutankhamon Nebkheperura, and into modern times and beyond. Come and share these experiences, live with the Boy-King, in this 2-part novel of life, death, and rebirth.

offerings to AmonRa...

Prayers to Amon-Ra
© Copyright 2012 M7C, All rights reserved

“You rise above the horizon at dawn,
Resplendent in light, Powerful of Breath,
O AmonRa, the King of the Gods!

“O You who are crowned Lord of the East,
O King of Everlasting Light,
O One above whose skin is as Gold,
Always protecting the Lands below.

“Come, hear my words,
O AmonRa, Lord of Ipet-iSut,
O the Great God who hears prayers,
Hear Mine:

“O My Divine Father, Amon-Ra,
Protect me and my kin from all who would do us harm,
Enrich us with Wealth as I enrich your temple with offerings;
Attract all that is positive and good to us,
So that I may honor you likewise.

“So declares, M7C, Kheriheb Master and First Prophet of Amon-Ra of the Temple of Amon-Ra.”
“All Hail Amon-Ra!!”

Omnitheism

https://www.createspace.com/3689583

Orthodox Omnitheism

Book 1

Authored by Michael J. Costa

In Ancient Egypt, both Monotheism and Polytheism existed in harmony. This lasted until the age of Akhenaton and later Moses. In the 2nd Dynasty there was a disagreement between Horus & Seth followers, like a rivalry between political parties during an American election. This was resolved by adoring both deities. So it shall be with Monotheism and Polytheism of today. That there are millions of interpretations of either system does not matter once the origins or core of each system is evaluated. Orthodox Omnitheism is the worship of all Divinities, whether it is only one, or many. For each Divinity is a Spirit in some form or another, and Spirits dwell in everything and everyone.

The Burning Bush (of the Book of Exodus, OT) is actually a Divine Spirit inside a tree that gives off radiation. A Divine Spirit in Egyptian religion that dwelled inside a tree was the Goddess Hathor (Sycamore Tree). Whenever people of Egypt are shown worshiping a Deity, their hands are always up as if warming them at a campfire. So the Burning Bush was actually an Egyptian Deity, an unknown one. New Gods were always discovered by the Egyptians. The Tree-God that Moses discovered was described as a plant that burned but did not consume the bush.

"And the Angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed." (Exodus 3:2).

The overall purpose of Religion as a concept is empowerment of Magical Energy. Think of a target deity as the solar cell in a solar station, with thousands of mirrors reflecting sunlight onto it for energy collection. Each mirror is one pious person sending energy to that target god. The target can be a word (Logos), a book (Bible, Quran), a person (Christ), a concept (PAX, Peace), someone with an illness, a building (Temple), or an energy dump site (the Sun). If you empower a word with energy, it becomes a Word of Power; when uttered or written this word forces energy through its definition or action verb.

Ankhesenamun, Queen of Egypt

Authored by Michael J. Costa

This historical-fiction novel written in 1992 chronicles the lives of late 18th Dynasty Egypt, those of Tutankhamun and his wife, Queen Ankhesenamun.

An Excerpt:

Commander Horemhab sat anxiously and impatiently on the floor of his chariot, waiting for an answer. The royal troops had aligned the entrance of the Nubian camp and several scouts were patrolling in and out of the enemy head-quarters, looking for their leader. A single chariot of Nubian craftsmanship, originally stolen from Egyptian garrisons and modified to meet their standards, shifted the desert sands behind it as the chariot entered through an unprotected gap in the Egyptian wall of horses. A proud announcement saluted the commander from afar, and this caused him to rise from his seat. It was Tutankhamon. Excited, Horemhab shouted to the sky in adoration of the god Horus, relieved that his prayers had been answered. Horemhab exalted his comrades over the news. Ay was the first to respond.

"It couldn't be him; that charioteer looks nothing like Tutankhamon." Tut removed his wig and Ay looked closer.

"Oh my god."

How to Create your own Egyptian Book of the Dead

How to Create Your Own Egyptian Book of the Dead

Authored by Michael J Costa

The Ancient Egyptians believed in a life after bodily death, as did many other cultures in pre-history. Their sophisticated knowledge of the afterlife compelled them to create houses for the departed souls with enough furnishings to last forever. The basic concept was in book form, and this was copied into pictures and tomb murals that decorated these underground palaces. Since papyrus paper was expensive the tombs were made of stone or mud bricks, and tomb interiors were painted to match the contents of the funerary texts. So if you have such a book, you do not necessarily need a tomb; the dead souls would create their own housing and habitation in the Otherworld by reading about it. If you did not have this book, a tomb would be your home so that your eternal soul would not haunt the living, or demand food and drink offerings from living relatives.

With Archaeologists excavating in Egypt for the past 200+ years, numerous tombs have been found there. Some were haunted by the awakened souls detecting the movement of their remains. Some souls returned to Earth in new bodies as people or animals as they did for many centuries. The ancient expression, "To call one's name is to cause them to live again," means "to live again upon being awoken." Life extends beyond bodily activity. Your soul is shaped by your body, and continues to exist long after the body is no longer here. Some souls such as Tutankhamon are hostile to being disturbed, and so every time his remains are moved or touched, bad reactions occur in the world (this is the so-called "Curse" concept).

Now you can create your own Egyptian Book of the Dead and be prepared for Eternal Life with style. This guide book will show you a few ways to prepare for your future existence. You do not need to adopt the Egyptian Mythology or religion, as pre-historical people believed in an afterlife long before the invention of bread. All you need to do is follow these ideas correctly. Modern cultures in Asia already have similar ideas as the ancients had, and can find common concepts.

The True Parents of King Nebkhperura Tutankhamon

https://www.createspace.com/3873524

Smenkhkara and Meritaton

The True Parents of Tutankhamon

Authored by Michael J. Costa

Nefertiti bore daughters to her husband. Based on surviving sculptures, in their early years Akhenaton and Nefertiti were happily married. In later years at least one portrait or sculpture shows them holding hands but leaving their expression somewhat depressed. They never had a male heir or son. Nefertiti's daughters, Meritaton and Ankhesenpaaton, both had female daughters named after them. Even Nefertiti's sister, Mutnodjmet, never bore a son for her husband Horemhab the future King and then-current General of the Army. Mutnodjmet was found as an element in the "floating barge" with an accompanying dwarf/pygmy among Tutankhamon's belongings.

It is recorded that "Nefertiti fell from grace and moved into the Northern Palace of Akhetaton during the later years of Akhenaton." This does not mean that "she died," for most likely she was divorced as she still lived. Divorce was not uncommon for Ancient Egyptians, but was difficult to express when it happened in the royal palace. The people could not know what happened to her, it would be too devastating. Nefertiti was well respected by the people, as they saw her in the Window of Appearances giving rewards to the citizens, or on temple reliefs in ritual smiting of the enemy. The reason was mostly simple: she did not give her husband a son to inherit his doctrine or continue the dynasty. So what did happen?

DNA evidence (2010) has 2 mummies related to each other as "brother and sister," one from KV55 and the Younger Lady mummy. Once thought to be Akhenaton based solely on the condition of its encasement coffin and effaced inscriptions, the KV55 male mummy is someone else. Akhenaton did not have any sisters matching the Younger Lady's description. My theory is that KV55 mummy is Smenkhkara and the Younger Lady is Akhenaton's eldest surviving daughter Merit-aton. This means Smenkhkara is Akhenaton's son by a different source than Nefertiti. Some DNA links hint at a foreign genetic source in the tested mummies, so Smenkhkara's mother is questionable. Was she another wife of Akhenaton, a secret lover / harem girl, or of a foreign royal bloodline?

Smenkhkara adopts the former royal name of Nefertiti to keep the situation current, and to prevent suspicion as to why she is missing. His wife, Meritaton, is the daughter of Nefertiti & Akhenaton, and became the new "Great Royal Wife" of the coregent Nefernefruaton Ankhkheperura. A few years into the new coregency, Smenkhkara drops the reference to Nefertiti and becomes Ankhkheperura Smenkhkara. Gradual name changes give room to smooth transition of power. The people would believe it was the same individuals giving themselves new names or titles; a common practice. Then after Akhenaton died the new Smenkhkara became full sovereign as Djoserkheperura Smenkhkara with Meritaton as Queen.

The DNA evidence states that the KV55 Mummy and Younger Lady are the genetic parents of Tutankhamon.

Climate Change and Elemental Gods

Climate Change & Elemental Gods.

The sudden worship of Ancient Weather Gods from Pharaonic Egypt has tapped a well source of power that laid dormant for thousands of years... Resulting in Climate Change after the 1990s.

Global Warming and Climate Change may be related to Sun worship of Egyptian Gods, as found recently by Egyptologists who suggest:

1. During the Old Kingdom, the Pyramid Age, Ra worship was commonplace.
2. Ra is the Sun God of Egypt.
3. A massive drought ended the Old Kingdom, and caused famines.
4. Pyramids are Temples of the Sun, not just tombs of Pharaoh Kings.
5. So as a result of Sun worship, the massive drought occurred when Ra was satiated with offerings.

What happens when you pray to Ra?

1. It influences the movement on the Sun's surface. As in Solar Flares (Uraeus cobra).
2. The Sun influences the Weather on Earth.

Willing or praying to the Sun is like pushing  a rock in outer space:

the rock keeps moving [until interrupted] via inertia.

I started my Solar experiments in the 1990s.
